Ivory Coast international defender Emmanuel Agbadou became Wolves’ first signing under Vitor Pereira when he moved to Molineux in January 2025.
Wolves have made Stade de Reims central defender and captain Emmanuel Agbadou their first signing under Vitor Pereira.
The Ivory Coast international, who joins on a four-and-a-half-year deal which contains an additional 12-month option, moves having spent the past two-and-a-half seasons playing consistently in Ligue 1.
A dominant defender standing at 6ft 4, but also comfortable in possession, Agbadou began his professional career in Tunisia with Monastir, before turning out 64 times in the Belgian Pro League with Eupen.

Wolves are closing in on the deadline day signing of Burkina Faso international Nasser Djiga. The 22-year-old currently plays for Serbian side Red Star Belgrade, who he joined on loan in 2023 from Basel before making a permanent move last summer.
Djiga has been a regular this season, playing 27 games in all competitions this season, including all eight of Belgrade’s Champions League group games.
His impressive performances at centre-back have alerted several clubs and Wolves are now moving quickly to try and seal a deadline day swoop. If completed, this deal could become one of the biggest in Crvena zvezda’s history, with the Serbian club set to earn over €11 million, potentially rising to €13 million with bonuses. Additionally, Zvezda will retain 5% of any future transfer fee.
With Wolves battling to avoid relegation, Djiga’s arrival will provide crucial support in central defense. The move comes after Kevin Danso opted to join Tottenham, leaving manager Vítor Pereira eager to strengthen his squad. Djiga is expected to slot into a three-man defensive system as Wolves look to stabilize their backline for the remainder of the season.

Wolves reached an agreement with Stade de Reims for Marshall Munetsi (28) with an offer of €20 million for the Zimbabwean international as they look to bolster their options ahead of the final half of season. The club are fighting a relegation battle and sit only two points above the drop line.
However, due to this deal occurring on transfer deadline day, Reims will only let Munetsi leave once they have found a replacement for him. According to a report from L’Équipe, Stade de Reims have given permission to Marshall Munetsi to speak to Wolverhampton.
However, Reims have not yet found their replacement as their hopes with Montpellier HSC to secure Joris Chotard (23) was shut. Reports say that Reims will look at Mory Gbane (24) who plays for Portuguese side Vicente.
