Tino Kadewere to Miss Another National Duty-FANS UNIMPRESSED

Tino Kadewere is going to miss another national duty due to injury. The Zimbabwean  international plays as a winger for Ligue 1 side Nantes. His last match was on Nov. 4th when he scored his side’s only goal in their 2-1 defeat to Marseille. The 28 year old has played 8 matches this season with 1 goal and 2 assists. He missed Nantes match on Sunday where they lost 3/2 to Lens
It is believed he will be out for about four weeks.

After the news broke that had withdrawn from the squad, Zimbabwean fans were quick to allege that, the injury story was fake. Kadewere missed match days 3/4 where Zimbabwe played Namibia and Cameroon.
This final round of games is very crucial for Zimbabwe. Michael Nees needs his finest squad. They need only a point from two matches in.order to join Cameroon who have already qualified from Group J.
Tino Kadewere would have been useful.
His most successful years were perhaps with Lyon where he featured in 59 matches scoring 11 goals between 2020/22.
He joined Nantes on loan before becoming permanent in May 2024 and contract runs until 2026.

Kadewere’s performannce had been.declining due to injuries.
He made his debut for Zimbabwe senior team on 21 June 2015 where Zimbabwe won  2/0 Comoros.

Last match for Zimbabwe was a World Cup Qualifiers South Africa 3/1 Zimbabwe where he was on bench. Earlier he had played in Zimbabwe defeat to Lesotho.(2/0 )
