
Manchester City star Phil Foden won the Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player of the Year award, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer won the young player of the year award at the PFA’s 51st anniversary awards event in Salford.
Cole Palmer claimed PFA Players’ Young Player of the Year following an exceptional season for Chelsea, scoring 22 goals and assisted 11 others in the Premier League over the 2023/24 campaign, with only Erling Haaland netting more times than the England international.
Meanwhile, Manchester City and Jamaica star Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Tottenham’s Grace Clinton were named the PFA Players’ Women’s Player of the Year and PFA Players’ Young Player of the year respectively in the awards voted for by their peers.
