While “African products” continue to enter the Chinese market, “Made in China” products are also favored by more and more Africans.
The “China-Africa Trade Index” released for the first time by the General Administration of Customs during the Third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo shows that since 2000, China-Africa trade has developed rapidly, with continuous expansion in scale and continuous improvement in quality; China needs more “Africa Africa also needs more “Made in China” products, and bilateral trade has broad prospects for development.

8.Car
In 2023, China’s automobile export volume is expected to surpass Japan’s and become the world’s first for the first time. Africa will also gradually become a hot spot for Chinese automobile companies to explore markets.
The continent produces very little domestically produced cars. In addition, Africa’s major import companies focus their business on high-end buyers who can afford to buy expensive brand new cars, but more ordinary African buyers are more willing to buy new energy vehicles and relatively cheap second-hand cars.
9.Stationery
Enterprising businessmen have found a large market for stationery supplies in Africa. The increase in the number of academic institutions and Africa’s desire for education are the main reasons for the increase in demand for stationery supplies in Africa. Due to the shortage of manufacturing capacity for local stationery products in Africa, overseas companies are actively meeting Africa’s demand for these products.
10. Mechanical and engineering products
Africa lacks the strong and diverse facility base necessary to produce most engineered products. This has laid the foundation for engineering products from powerful manufacturing countries such as China and India to enter Africa and turned these countries into Africa’s largest exporters of engineering products.
11.Chemical products
At present, the African market’s demand for chemical products has far exceeded its supply capacity. Current industrial growth rates and the overall demand for products from a growing population require Africa to import these products.
The agricultural sector is one of the areas in the African economy that generates huge demand for chemical products. There is a growing trend in Africa to use modern agricultural methods that require greater use of organic chemicals in Africa. In addition the African cosmetics industry is rapidly growing and the demand for raw materials for the production of soaps, colognes, cosmetics, is increasing.
