Zimbabweans React:
X user…When I read the book 1984 by George Orwell I reallllly didn’t think I would see it come to life but here we are… life imitating art? This is crazy!!!
X user…Ooooh my God you are a joke ,why do you always embarrassing yourself this way? Do they force you to announce all these nonsense? I don’t get it . Mthuli is the worst person Minister in Zim.
X user…He was given not voted,so far the CEO Global Reputation Forum is a Zimbabwean, probably one of the Zanu-pf intelligence Agent,it’s not news to us but just a sheer propaganda.
X user…Zanu PF diaspora formed organisation what a shame cde ..hw can one award a finance minister who has the useless currency ..how much is a loaf of bread ?type it here.
X user… He can have as many global & ZANU PF coined awards as possible but fact remains that to the ordinary Zimbabwean, he will always be the worst, anti-poor, pro-rich minister Zimbabwe has ever had. If failure was a person, Mthuli would be that person with Mangundya cmng a close 2nd.
X user… Best minister when you are supritending on an economy whom tenders are corruptly awarded, where the masses can not financially plan a month and beyond, workers are paid money that cannot purchase, instead will have to buy money to use from the unemployed.
X user…Meanwhile inflation is nearing four digits mark with the best Minister in charge. Ko which position did our President take. Also what position is our Judiciary which ambushes lawyers in the middle of the night to attend an electoral court case took
Lord John Waverly, the chairman, said:
“In today’s rapidly evolving financial landscape, the convergence of technology and banking has given rise to a new era of financial management challenges and the Zimbabwean Minister, with a shoe-string budget, managed to fight the Covid-19 pandemic with the Government and country recording minimal Covid-19-related human deaths.”
Prof Ncube emphasised Zimbabwe’s economic progress and improved infrastructure under the Second Republic, even amid economic sanctions. He mentioned presenting a 2024 Budget proposal aimed at further economic improvement. The Finance Minister expressed delight at the recognition and highlighted the Treasury team’s efforts in implementing effective economic policies.
