Warriors of Zimbabwe super fan Chris “Romario” Musekiwa is confident the team will do well in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria.
Zimbabwe will begin its quest for the FIFA 2026 World Cup finals with a clash against Rwanda on 15 November before taking on Nigeria on 19 November.
Both matches will be played at Huye Stadium in Butare, Rwanda.

Zimbabwe coach Baltemore Brito announced the 28-man provisional squad to tackle the task in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Musekiwa was quoted by Zimbabwe Football Association official website saying, “The team has a wealth of talent and experienced players whom some are playing in top leagues in the world,”
“So as supporters we are convinced the Warriors will deliver results in Rwanda. Let’s go there with a winning mentality.”
Luton Town’s Marvellous Nakamba, Reims’ Marshall Munetsi, and Lyon’s Tino Kadewere decorate the squad. There is also the inclusion of new faces such as Liverpool academy midfielder Isaac Mabaya, Wolves forward Leon Chiwome, and Brentford goalkeeper Marley Tavaziva.
The inclusion of Cardiff City’s Andy Rinomhota, Brendan Galloway, Reading’s Tivonge Rushesha, and Leicester’s Tawanda Maswanhise completes the list of UK-based players.
