China Eastern Airlines Flight crashes with 132 people on board

132 people on board China Eastern Airlines flight crash and the Civil Aviation Authority of China emergency mechanism has been activated.
According to local media, a Boeing 737 aircraft lost contact over Wuzhou in Southwestern China traveling from Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, to Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province. It has been confirmed that the plane crashed in Tengxian, Guangxi and there were 132 people on board, ( 123 passengers and 9 crew members).

Civil Aviation Authority has activated the emergency mechanism, sent a working group to the scene.

Villagers who participated in the rescue said the plane was completely disintegrated and most of the fire had been extinguished when the fire department arrived.

According to Jiemu News, on the afternoon of March 21, a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 MU5735 crashed in Teng County of Wuzhou, Guangxi province, causing a mountain fire.

A village cadre involved in the rescue, said he did not see the remains of the victims at the scene. Mr Zhou said the plane crash caused a mountain fire in bamboos and wood.
